Claudio Descalzi has been CEO of Eni since May 2014.
Born in Milan in 1955, he graduated in physics in 1979 from the University of Milan.
He is currently Member General Council and of the Advisory Board of Confindustria Energia and Director of Fondazione Teatro alla Scala.
He joined Eni in 1981 as Oil & Gas field petroleum engineering and project manager, for the development of North Sea, Libya, Nigeria and Congo. In 1990 he was appointed Head of reservoir and operating activities for Italy.
In 1994 he was named Managing Director of Eni subsidiary in Congo and in 1998 Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Naoc, Eni subsidiary in Nigeria.
From 2000 to 2001 he held the position of Executive Vice President for Africa, Middle East and China.
From 2002 to 2005 he was Executive Vice President for Italy, Africa, Middle East covering also the role of Chairman of the board of several Eni subsidiaries in the area.
In 2005 he was appointed Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Eni - Exploration & Production Division.
From 2006 to 2014 he was President of Assomineraria.
From 2008 to 2014 he was Chief Operating Officer of Eni - Exploration & Production Division.
From 2010 to 2014 he held the position of Chairman of Eni UK.
In 2012 Claudio Descalzi was the first European in the field of Oil&Gas to receive the prestigious "Charles F. Rand Memorial Gold Medal 2012" award by the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Institute of Mining Engineers.
Claudio Descalzi is Visiting Fellow of The University of Oxford.
From December 2015 he is member of "Global Board of Advisors of Council on Foreign Relations".
Member of the National Petroleum Council for the 2016/2017 term.

An OPEC veteran, HE Mohammad Barkindo served as Nigeria’s OPEC National Representative for a record 15 years and was also OPEC Governor. In 2006, he was appointed Acting OPEC Secretary General.
A passionate advocate of the climate change initiative, HE Mohammad Barkindo led Nigeria’s technical delegations at the negotiations that produced the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Kyoto Protocol.
He served as Chair of the Group of 77 and China at the UNFCCC and was elected as Vice President of the Conference of the Parties for three terms. He was Chairman of the OPEC Task Force at the 15th session of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development.
As OPEC Secretary General, HE Mohammad Barkindo has spearheaded several historic and market-transforming initiatives, steering the adoption of the Algiers Accord in登录国外网站的加速器; the Vienna Agreement in November 2016; and the Declaration of Cooperation, reached with non-OPEC producers, in December 2016. This has been followed by intense collaboration with heads of OPEC and non-OPEC countries in working towards the full and timely implementation of the Declaration of Cooperation, to restore sustainable stability to the oil market in the interests of producers and consumers. As a result of these landmark actions, a historic page has been turned and a new chapter is being written for the energy industry, one with the interests of producers and consumers firmly at its heart.

Mr. Ould Kaddour holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Polytechnic School in Algiers, a higher degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA.

Yury P. Sentyurin is the Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, GECF, a position he assumed on January 1, 2018. Previously, he was State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation; State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Education and Science; Deputy Head of Committee on Energy, Transport and Communications of the State Duma and First Deputy Governor of the Nizhegorodsky Region among others.

A recipient of several Awards including the Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation, Dr. Sentyurin who speaks Russian, English, French and Farsi, has a Ph. D. in Political Science, Master’s degree in Law and another Master’s degree in Economics.
